Lauhala Anthurium Workshop
Join us for a Lauhala Anthurium Workshop on Oahu at Kaneohe Higashi Hongwanji. In this beginner-friendly workshop, participants will learn how to transform lauhala into a beautiful anthurium-inspired creation while being introduced to the cultural practice of lauhala weaving. No prior weaving experience is necessary—all materials are provided, and everyone is welcome to come learn, create, and connect through this special ʻike kupuna. 🌿🌺Please read all details below before purchasing your ticket.

Space is limited, and ALL attendees must have a paid ticket to participate. Sorry, space cannot accommodate guest not participating in workshop.
Your workshop kit includes all materials and supplies needed to create two lauhala anthurium one during class and one to take home and practice.
Additional kits will be available for purchase following the workshop for $25 each kit (Includes 2). Cash or Venmo.
Appropriate for ages 14 and up. All keiki must have a ticket and be accompanied by a paying adult.
Participating keiki must be able to follow verbal instructions to participate in the workshop. Parents use your own discretion.
