Lauhala Anthurium Workshop
Join us for the very first Lauhala Anthurium Workshop in partnership with ʻAwili Kaiāulu Hub at the Prince Kūhiō Plaza in Hilo, Hawaiʻi! In this beginner-friendly workshop, participants will learn how to transform lauhala into a beautiful anthurium-inspired creation while being introduced to the cultural practice of lauhala weaving. No prior weaving experience is necessary—all materials are provided, and everyone is welcome to come learn, create, and connect through this special ʻike kupuna. 🌿🌺Please read all details below before purchasing your ticket.

This workshop is being offered at an exclusive, special price for the ʻAwili Kaiāulu Hub community.
Space is limited, and ALL attendees must have a paid ticket to participate.
Your workshop kit includes all materials and supplies needed to create one lauhala anthurium during class.
Additional kits will be available for purchase following the workshop.
Appropriate for ages 12 and up. All keiki must have a ticket and be accompanied by a paying adult.
Keiki must be able to follow verbal instructions to participate in the workshop.
