Join Lauhala Love for a beginner-friendly Lauhala Bangle Workshop at Kaneohe Higashi Hongwanji. In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to weave lauhala onto a beautiful bangle while being introduced to the cultural practice of lauhala weaving. No prior weaving experience is necessary—all materials are provided, and everyone is welcome to come learn, create, and connect through this special ʻike kupuna. 🌿

Space is limited, and ALL attendees must have a paid ticket to participate.
Your workshop kit includes all materials and supplies needed to create two lauhala bangles.
Additional kits will be available for purchase following the workshop for $25 each kit (Includes 2 bangles). Cash or Venmo.
Appropriate for ages 16 and up. All keiki must have a ticket and be accompanied by a paying adult.
Participating keiki must be able to follow verbal instructions to participate in the workshop. Parents use your own discretion.
